Baron De Montesquieu is a French philosopher from Paris, France. He influenced the founders of the American republic, and believed in individual liberty. He wrote a book in 1748 titled On The Spirit of Laws that which expressed his opinions on how the government should be controlled.

Jean Jacques Rousseau philosopher from Geneva, Switzerland. He believed in expressing political ideas through music, and other arts. One of his major works is The Social Contract published in 1762, which was banned in Paris, forcing him to fled.
